These photos were taken at the Annual Kansas City 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony. The special guest speakers were KCMO Police Chief Rick Smith, KCMO Fire Chief Gary Reese, KCMO Mayor Pro Tem Scott Wagner and our Post Commander John Williams. The guest speaker was Mark Alford of Fox 4 News. The color guards were from the DVA, VFW, American Legion, KCMO Police and KCMO Fire Department. The rifle teams were from the KCMO Police and American Legion Post 189 Honor Guard. The American Legion Band provided music.
These were taken at Longview Cemetery for Roy and Barbara Nelson in 2019.
Memorial Day 2020 the Posts Honor Guard fired two salutes and our buglar was asked to sound Taps twice.
The team remembered our namesake "Robert L Clore" , who was lost in battle during WWI. And we
remembered the other Vets that lost their lives for our Country.
